I’m just really loving the composition in these. How like even when Joan is behind Sherlock and he should be the center of attention she’s still standing taller than him and kind of watching his back while also saying I’m not taking all of your shit, Sherlock. 

Liu is such a commanding, charismatic presence that she just completely dominates the picture.  I’m barely even noticing the dude.  This show is going to be “Lucy Liu Solves Crimes And Kicks Ass… oh, and babysits that snotty British guy.”
